Itinerary
Day 1 : (Uttarakashi) Delhi-Rishikesh

Upon arrival at the Delhi airport, our representative will receive you and take you to Rishikesh via road. The drive from Delhi to Rishikesh will take about 6-7 hours. Arrive at Rishikesh and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : (Guptakashi) Rishikesh-Barkot

After your breakfast, proceed to Barkot which is a five-hour drive from Rishikesh. Drive via Mussoorie and visit Kempt Falls on the way (If time permits). On arrival at Barkot, check-in to your hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 : (Kedarnath) Barkot-Kharshali-Yamunotri-Barkot

After breakfast, depart for Hanumanchatti, Janki Chatti (8 km). Begin the first Pahad Yatra of Yamunotri which is a 5 Km trek. You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (Cost Not Included). The trek passes through lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti and several species of Himalayan shrubs. Yamunotri (altitude 3,291 m), the westernmost shrine of the Char Dhams, is dominated by Banderpunch (6,361 m). Yamunotri is the source of the river Yamuna, the twin sister of Varna, the Lord of Death. On arrival by afternoon in Yamunotri take a holy dip in Yamuna River and perform Pooja, and take the same route back to Barkot, check in at Hotel / Camp. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel in Barkot.

Day 4 : (Guptakashi) Barkot-Uttarkashi

Proceed to Uttarkashi which is a 2-hour drive from Barkot. Situated on the banks of River Bhagirathi is Uttarkashi, an important pilgrim centre which is often equated with Kashi (Varanasi). It is situated at an elevation of 1150 meters. During Megh Mela, people visit Uttarkashi to take a holy dip in Bhagirathi along with their village deity. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Kashi Vishwanath Temple is an ancient and the most famous temple in Uttarkashi. The Shivling is 60 cms in height and 90 cms in circumference. This is the most important shrine of Uttarkashi and should not be missed if you are travelling to this part of the country. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 : (Badrinath) Uttarkashi-Gangotri-Uttarkashi

Drive to Gangotri which is a 2-hour drive from Uttarkashi. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 mts. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th century's temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. After performing Pooja Late afternoon drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 6 : (Srinagar) Uttarakshi-Guptakshi/Sitapur

Proceed to Guptakshi which is a 7-hour drive from Uttarkashi. The temple town is located on the way to the Kedarnath, one of the Chota Char Dhams and Panch Kedar. It has the scenic backdrop of the snow-covered peaks of Chaukhamba and enjoys a salubrious weather throughout the year. Upon arrival check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 : (Haridwar) Guptakshi-Sonprayag-Kedarnath

Early morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag which is a one hour drive from Guptakshi. From where you will start your 20 km trek to Kedarnath. You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (Cost Not Included). Mandakini, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund.  On arrival check in at Govt. Camps/Lodges. Dinner and Overnight at Govt. Camps/Lodges. 

Day 8 : (Haridwar) Kedarnath-Sonprayag-Guptakshi

Early morning you get up before dawn and reach the temple by 4:45 am for the 'Abhishek' to Kedarnath Shiva. Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol. You can also prostrate with your head touching the deity etc. After darshan and puja return to the Camps / Lodges. Later start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. Return back to your hotel at Guptakshi. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 : (Rishikesh) Guptakshi/Sitapur-Joshimath-Badrinath

This morning, check out of the hotel and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. After driving through some wonderful Ghat road you arrive at Badrinath. On arrival check into the hotel. After some rest and refreshments, you are all set to go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. Enroute go to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take bath and then go to the temple. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple of Shri Badrinath Ji is 15 meters in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. Later back to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 : (Barkot) Badrinath-Joshimath-Rudraprayag-Srinagar

This morning, go for Badrinath darshan. After darshan return back to the hotel, breakfast at the hotel and proceed for Badrinath local sightseeing visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple. Afternoon drive back to Srinagar via Karanprayag & Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag is a small pilgrim town on the holy confluence of river Alaknanda and Mandakini. On arrival check in at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11 : (Barkot) Srinagar-Devprayag-Haridwar

After breakfast drive to Haridwar, en-route visit Devprayag, the Confluence of River Alaknanda &Bhagirathi to become Ganga. Reach Haridwar in the afternoon, check in to the hotel, after Breakfast visit Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi Temples & Evening attend famous Ganga Arti at Har ki Pauri. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 12 : (Uttarakashi) Haridwar-Delhi (Departure)

Your char Dham yatra will come to an end and drive back to Delhi to board your flight/ train for onward destination.

Char Dham is referred to the four Hindu religious sites in Uttarakhand state of India. These are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath. Situated in the lap of majestic Himalayas, these four sites are the epicentre of religious activity in north India. The Chardham Yatra is undertaken from the west to the east and the yatra starts from Yamunotri, then proceeding to Gangotri and finally to Kedarnath and Badrinath. The Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand is considered as one of the most propitious journey for the Hindu devotees and is done by a lot of pilgrims from all over the world. The valour of the Gods and the natural beauty of the great Himalayas are an ideal combination that enhances the religious and spiritual affection of the Char Dham tour.
